Saturday, September 25

Sunday, September 26

Conference Opening – 10:00 a.m.
Join keynote speaker Pat Morrow, a documentary film-maker and the first man to achieve the peaks of all seven of the world’s highest mountain summits, for an inspirational and beautiful kick-off.

Brunch
Banff is famous for its scenery and Banff Park Lodge is famous for its Sunday Brunch. Enjoy a wide selection of delicious and nutritious foods, mingle with other conference participants and take in the breathtaking view from the dining room.

World Café
Rotate through a series of short sessions and check-in with your peers on topics as varied as working in a one-person office, engaging parents, media relations and more. Share ideas, compare practices, and gain insights that will be compiled and shared.

Keynote Speaker – 9:00 a.m.
Alberta’s children’s author, playwright and all-round funny guy Marty Chan helps us remember the real reason behind our career field in his session in Kid Whisperer: How grown ups can relate to children.

Panel presentation
The Alberta government has undertaken an unprecedented series of public consultations to assist in setting the direction for the future of education in the province. Find out why they did it, what they learned, and where they go from here.

CACE Study
Join the crisis communications experts from Hour Zero for a crisis communications overview and hands-on table-top training exercise.

Closing Speaker
Wrap up the conference with an inspirational presentation from Olympian Mellisa Hollingsworth, who will share her story of perseverance and triumph.

Transportation

For members flying in to Calgary for the conference, we encourage you to take advantage of transportation provided by the Banff Airporter with service from the Calgary International Airport to Banff. We have secured a 10 per cent discount for CACE Conference attendees.

For $50.09 one way or $100.17 round trip (taxes included), you have door to door service from the airport to the Lodge and back. A one-way trip takes two hours. View the full schedule to determine pick-up times that work best with your flights.
